I know someones have to have read Amulet of Samarkand so I wanted to ask what you think of the series. I think it is one of the best new series. I think Jonathan Stroud should write a book with Robert Stanek. Now it'd be a cool book because Robert Stanek has this whole alternate path thing with multiple viewpoint characters and J Stroud gets in the head of the djinn really well.

It seems kind of wierd of how it switches from first to third person and back and forth between time. Hard to keep up.

Unfortunately this series is not available in my country and about Internet-orders, I prefer to wait for the next KE books. But if "The Amulet of Samarkand" comes in Bulgaria, I will read it.

Yes, there are many good fantasy authors, a few, who are great, but Stanek is THE BEST!

I don't mean to be mean or anything, but Bartimaues is bizzare and hard to follow, even more so than His Dark Materials. I didn't enjoy it that much.
