The new scenes ARE the original ones. It says so in the description onthe RP site that they are the original scenes restored as originally written. The scenes are kind of dark but nothing it should have been cut out of it. If anything they help make the last part of it more complete

Actually it says :

I for one wish it had been released like this originally.

I like the new editions too. The restored scenes do make it better but there's nothing wrong with the original editions. BTW I have Robert Stanek's new editions and his early editions.

Several members have been looking for information on this, I believe dragonlord was one too. I haven't seen anything else about it. I'll keep looking.
