Thank You to all that emailed me personally with all the positive responses. I also value the criticism because it helps me to restructure for a targeted audience while still being myself. I hope that all that purchased the novel enjoy the adventure and continue to ask questions, for their is far more to the realm of Gollumeth than what is in the book. In the book you will learn of the late King Horredath's past and how his honest ways of ruling are more than meets the eye. It is also the clue to the sub-title (The Bloodline of Horredath). Many creatures exsist in the realm of Gollumeth and some, although creatures by description, are not to be underestimated, for they have the ability to speak and live amongst the likes of man. Even if not harmoniously. The main currency on Gollumeth are called rounds. There are two types of rounds, Gold Rounds and Crystal Rounds. Crystal Rounds are scarce for most were destroyed in the late Great Battles of Horredath. If you go to my website and view the Gollumeth Map, you'll get a feel for All that I relay. It will also help to put the Realm of Gollumeth more visually in your mind. www.bccreativity.com/FantasyNovel.htmup next, a brief history of the Forest of Crys…

Ahh you see, you ask the right questions. Don't be mistaken, there is good verses evil, but with just with a bit of a twist. That will be something I will not give away.
The Southern region of Gollumeth consists of two countries Popumeth, where the story begins and home to the only two cities that have dragons and dragon schools. Dutanamus is the city that houses the great Blue Dragon. Fatomae the second largest city is home to the Spotted Dragons and is where all criminals are tried, processed and sent to the Tainted Tricks Asylum.
Popumeth is also home to Malutean which are giants that live on the western coast. They are avid fishermen that supply many cities with catches only they could handle. Cheerful folk that welcome anyone into their lives, but do have another side that most would never want to see.
The Klutes are a nomadic culture that follow a cycle of traveling from lake to lake. No man ever gets near a Klute for all that do, are killed by dismemberment or by some other type of horrid form of torture.
The central region of Gollumeth is known as Finger of Salama, home to the Bone Witch and the Forest of Crys. The Forest of Crys is the home of the Black Skow, viscous and evil and dwell within and under the dark forest. It is also where Bantius Tree Spiders roam, blending into the forest and constantly hunting for their next meal or victim.
The Northern region consists of two countries, Horredath and Nutemous. Everything from Hammer Fists from Criben bearded stout folk who love to fight and Hexums from Mosenore City, underground dwellers and master sword crafters.
More to come…

I want to be honest with everyone, for I have not followed Robert Stanek's work. I am but a mere artist that has had a story in my mind for many years. Three years ago, I finally came to the fork in the road with myself and felt I needed to get my story out. Kind of a dream come true if you will. So three years in the making resulted in the Realm of Gollumeth and I also learned 15th century book binding. I did this so that I can bind one copy myself and tuck it away as the so called original.
I have ventured through much of the forums and site and find that many of you are talented and extreemly immaginative. I like that type of atmosphere, it fuels me.
I hope to be welcomed here and long to share with all my conjured Real of Gollumeth.

I would like to start out by saying that the Gollumeth realm, like the majority, has the infrastructure of a typical fantasy world, but is unique from what most would expect. There is no fairy godmother, knight in shining armor, nor is there necessarily good verses evil. That will be left up to the reader.
The innards of the Gollumeth realm consist of a peaceful past gone wrong, so wrong in fact that it changed the entire continent of Gollumeth.
The laws of which all are expected to live by on Gollumeth are created and reformed by the Wizards of the Alia Society which reside on the Sots Islands. Those that refuse to live by the ways of the Alia Society and are proven a menace, are sent to what is known as the Tainted Tricks Asylum. No one, I mean no one wants to go there, ever. Even wizards fear it.
The most northern country is Horredath and the capitol is Horredath City. Both were named after one of the early Alia Society families that exuded leadership and guidance. The northern land was named Horredath and the family ruled the north ever since. Peacefully and honestly.
This is where the story really begins, for perfection in this realm is but a mere delusion. A total of five countries make up Gollumeth which means that peace is always but a mere glance from time to time, between the precence of split politics and good and evil sorcery.
More to come…

[/img]Taking opinions on the prelude of the new fantasy novel Gollumeth - The Bloodline of HorredathSo far the response has been positive. I'd like to hear from more.PRELUDEMany years ago, a northern city of great power generously gave to its people and prospered from the wealth of honesty and compassion towards others. Ties were strong with many distant lands. Conflicts and confrontations were of the upmost rarity. The great king, Horredath, fell ill and shortly passed. Cellium, his son, immediately took power and vowed to rule for a new era. An era contrary to his father’s honest ways. The people of the north would not take to such drastic changes and politicians of the region knew this. The government desperately rushed to find Cellium a suitable bride in hopes to gain a new ally and distract the new king with joyous matrimonial celebration. A family line of royal blood from the south offered up their most suitable daughter for unity. The daughter was overlooked for lacking beauty of the King’s perverse taste. The king was young and had no interest in what the council called a suitable woman, for he was inexperienced and saturated with pride. Offended by young Cellium’s lack of interest in royal ties and obsessive desire for young easy women, the southern bloodline plotted to extinguish the king from power. Despite the young king’s preoccupied days of overindulging and coveting, worry never passed his unfaltering eyes. Loyal spies of Cellium were quick to snuff out traitors and assassins. The brothers of the southern princess attempted to assassinate Cellium for disrespecting their family. Foolishly underestimating the new King, they were captured and executed immediately. Their bodies were displayed upon erected timbers with chains, for others to see as a warning to never cross the King. Sirell, the ruler of the south, became outraged to hear that his sons were slaughtered and displayed to rot in the sun of day. The south became heated and full of rage, for this new impious King in the north insulted mankind and the very existence of peace itself. They quickly declared war on Cellium and demanded his removal. Cellium, engulfed by his pride, sent thousands of troops to quiet anyone who dared to oppose him. The young daughter of the south, lost her father to the blade of Cellium’s men. With her father and brothers fallen, she became Empress of the South. She retaliated against Cellium endlessly. Cellium sided with many new lands in hopes to extinguish the young Empress and her people with all possible haste. Expansion of his kingdom meant the south would surely fall. Unsurprisingly, the Empress did exactly the same. Full of rage and saturated with hate, she would continue to selfishly hold her ground even if it meant the death of every last southerner. The devastating result of these horrendous events, lead to what was known as, the Great Battles of Horredath. Release date is spring 2006

Gollumeth - The Bloodline of Horredath By: B.D.Castro Published by: Authorhouse Coming spring 2006
I need some opinions on the book. I have included the Prelude which is set up as a teaser and the back cover teaser as well. I have received positive responses, negative responses and many angry responses from those wanting to know more! All respones are welcomed!
Book Cover Teaser Routine lives dramatically change when some young friends decide to set off on a small adventure. An adventure that would turn into extremely dangerous and life changing events. New friends are made and many secrets from the past are revealed. Lost order of the continent is reclaimed. Or is it. Those that are scattered and hidden across the lands come out to assist in the reclaiming of the once powerful and honest Horredath govern. Only one has the bloodline to take that place. The one that can remove the piercing thoughts and bitter taste of the past. The past events that changed the lives of all across Gollumeth. The Great Battles of Horredath.

I am wiling to help anyone with design or illustration work for assistance in spreading the word of my new fantasy novel (Gollumeth - The Bloodline of Horredath). Like many, I lack the strong financial backing to promote so with the help of others, my conjured realm can be exposed by word of mouth. I love to create new and exciting things and thrive on being a part of something great. I am willing to contribute and want to help others. If you are in the infancy stages of a project or halted by the need for illustration work or whatever, let me know. My website is my portfolio. Take a look and see what you think. Help me and I'll help you.www.bccreativity.comThanks,BCcreativity
