It gets me thinking... Slavic is the language of the elves so does this give hints of something about ruin mist's past?

If it is in the ancient past of our world, well, maybe the Elves became Slavs

I can tell you about the names. Sever - means North. Vostok - means East, it's quite archaic word, however, at least in Bulgarian. Yug - means South Zapad - means West Bulgarian fans were thrilled to discover words from our language (which is a slavic one) in the books. ;D Finally I get to know some of Ruin Mist's secrets! Thank you!!

I want to know all the secrets of ruin mist. In the end notes it says Aven and Riven are the twin sons of Alexia D'ardynne and it tells their story. the Rivens of Sever are descended of elves.

I like this idea about how the elves become a part of the world even though they disappear from the kingdoms. I wonder how much elf blood some kingdomers have. Plus it's ironic. Like kingdomers hate elves yet some may be part elvish.
