I knew that you'd like it, however that your hatred to Harry for me is as mysterious as Freddy Krueger himself

It's a matter of taste you know. About the picture, for nothing. I found it on the Web while searching images for Freddy (my fave horror-villain) and when I saw it, I thought that you would like it.

How on Earth Could you hate Hatty Potter? Harry potter is the most read books for children over the age of 10 since for ever! The plot line behind it is captivating and interesting, and i am probably guessing the only reason you have against reading Harrypotter is because of either your religion or becuase you probably havent read the book fully. You cant expect to have a good comversation with someone without reading the books fully, and saying you hate them. I fully support Harry Potter... give Jkrowling some credit for god sake.... think she started of broke and could not afford nuts and she decided to write a teens book, which went crazy popular, and then there are the few ignorant people like you who have no reason to hate........ Congradulations!

Hatred between fans of Robert Stanek and J. K. Rowling is not needed. Everything is a matter of taste. Both authors started from nothing and achieved a lot. The real enemies are the greedy big publishers, which bashed HP and are now inventing non-existing reviewers to critisize Stanek, because they are evnvious.

Wise words, Sparhawk, espceially the part about greedy publishewrs, but I can't supress this final comment: To How could you, oh and please read this, where did you get this from, Amazon? Honestly, if that wasn;t plagerizism or something close, you must be the most brainwashed fan ever to stumble unluckily on these stupid books. And I have read threough the books fullly and that line about J.K Rowling was a load of crap. So what if its the most popular book for kids over ten, cigaratess are another popular thing, but does that make it good? No. All it does is make people get addicted to it so they can advertisaew the product and flaunt it at other people, especailly troubled young people. So don't bew so naivew and over protective over one of the most simple and stupid books on the shelves. When you are saying the plot lines are captivating, please explain why, becuase otherwises, all your doing is hyping a tediously simple plot line that all revolves around a single idea and is just repeated in different wordings. Why defend it, there's nothing good about them. The details are like that in Artemis Fowl, since they relie on trhe readers knowing what almost all of the stuff in the books looks like, the plot lines all being terribly simple, the "exciting and page flipping passages" are all a bunch of overhyped paragraphs which could be duplicated by a ten year old. So to all you people who say "HARRY's SO Cool" or "How could you hate him he rocks" or "Your a bloody moron if you don't like the Harry" or even "Get a life, read one of these books" you are a bunch of bloody morons who defend and hype and constantly talk about one of the most boring, simple, and horribly written books I even read. You might as well drool all ovewr your desks, empty your bank accounts and say"I like crack" since these books are doing the smae thing to your brain. What really bothers me the most, and is something Saprhawk has mentioned before, is that while you waste the valuable moments of your lives drroling and talking constantly about Harry Potter, the actual good books liek Robert Stanek's go unnoticed by publishers who are only trying to make as much money of books like Harry Potter, the series of unfortunate events, and Artemis Fowl, which can easily hypnotise those who read it with whatever crap they load into their pages, instead of looking at the books that are actually good and giving them a chance in the big leagues. To conclude, to all your brainless bums who constantly talk about Harry Potter, rave about it to everyone within earshot and then to yoursleves when there's no one around and post stuff like,"Harry's so cool you guys are idiots to think he's stupid," or are probably thinking this every time someone speaks the truth about these books, "Oh my god. What losers they have to crtisze this to make themselves feel better. What? They actually mean it. ITs the Frakenstien monster! Shoot him down or bribe him before he takes off the hypnotics on our brains," or even this stupid comment, " give the author some credit, the poor darling was broke and wrote a book that was a huge sucsess," which is a load of dingo's kidneys, get a life and actually think about what your saying before you go and mouth out something so stupid, you sound like a robot who's being mind controlled by a paper or hard back book. Come back to reality, and actually read whats in a Harry Potter book before you accuse me of being over critical.

Well I must admit, harry potter is worth a read but it does not keep me coming back like Stanek's books. There's also somethings I find highly amusing in the stories. In such a wide world, there is no support group for parcel tongues A very broad and wide long snake is capable of travelling all over hogwarts through pipes....how big can the pipes get between the walls?! There is no clogging of pipes when the basilisk was travelling through it. But there was a clogging when a diary was stuck in the toilet which resulted in a mini flood. There are no known hidden guards or sentries around. Potraits talk and move and live a long time....so why dont they just paint the picture of a teacher and put it in the class room. Why doesnt any wizard offer to sell the secrets of the magic world to the muggle world? The news would do anything to get it. Why dont they have a spell that could strip a wizard of his power, who needs azkaban then? All dragons and dangerous mystical creatures appear to be under control for they do not go rampaging through the world. There is a limited number of jobs avaliable from what we know, working for the ministry of magic, being a teacher, run a shop or be a quidditch player.
