Have any of you read this book which is by Jonathan Stroud. It is really cool set in this alternate world where London is rules by magicians. The Amulet of Samarkand follows Nathaniel who is a young magician apprentice and Bartimaeus who is the djinni he summons to steal the amulet. The world JS created is nice and dark where magicians are very weak minded, and demons are not necessarily evil, but are the slaves of magicians. I started a fan forum which is samarkand.Forumer.com. Check it out sometime.
