I did read that and its still one of the thiigns I've been looking for references to in the books. It has to be connected to Sathar and the Dark Journey.

Well I'm reading through again looking for clues on the Fourth, the Dark Journey and Sathar. I believe the Dark Journey is what Sathar undertook to escape the underworld/afterlife/whatever. The Fourth seems to be a stronger force of darkenss at least to me.

I dunno if I've read enough of the RMC to have a firm opinion on this one way or the other. Having just finished Keeper Martin's Tale, with it fresh in my memory, I think some kind of great evil that imperils the world. The scenes in the tower with the old woman and the lady of the forest are very well done. I can still see it in my minds eye. What's up with the dark priests and wolmerelle thingamaggies?

The whole opening sequence was fabulous that way like RS envisioned how this would play out on a movie screen from the beginning like on a grand epic scale like Lord of the Rings, Gladiator, etc.

I loved all the detail RS put in it. Things like the fourth wind didn't even pop out on me on the first reading. Not only that but the way he described every thing Vilmos and the others did gave me a good idea of how it would be like to live in their world.

Does it relate to Vilmos? Or was thinking that the winds of change the old woman spoke of are the same as the fourth wind? or maybe different.

The old woman from the start? She was talkin about winds of change.
The fourth is something different its like a great evil or such. It may be Sathar thats what I was thinking or shomehow related to Sathar.
