What do you think, is she connected with the terrible priests?

I don't know, she doesn't seem to care about anyone but herself and her Wolmerelle brethren.

Yes, but we don't know what she's doing in Under-Earth.

I don't know, I think she lives in the under world but is searching for something. There's mention of a child, I think it would bring darkness or power to her.

While I'm re-reading KMT, I noticed the words of Xith - "creatures from different planes are not meant to mate, for when they do, it's rarely for the greater good". He was speaking about the Wolmerelles. So they are not ONLY from Under-Earth, but something like croos-breed. The mystery about Erravane deepens now. Maybe she is not so evil afer all. Maybe her race is just of angry exiles. I just love this things in Stanek - nothing is simple!

I mean that the Wolmerelles are mix between creatures from Under-Earth and probably Middle-Earth. Still, according to Xith, Erravane belongs to Under-Earth. Still, maybe her child could change the situation...

Very cool thought! Maybe they are half human so that's why she needs the child of a human prince so he could grow to be a king.

Nice point, freakshow! But I think that this child will be more than just a Wolmerelle King.
