So many new monsters in the new books it had my mind going wild with all them. I think graphic novels would be cool JUST for the monsters

They are very original too, or at least used in very original ways compared to standard fantasy. I like that about RS books.

Kingcats are interesting creatures as much as any of Stanek's creations. I enjoyed learing the story of Galia and was surprised by her actions especially since she is a Tyranth. I kept hoping for the completion of the story of Emel and Galia after they go over the mountains. It must be soon.
