Stanek's characters got to me. i liked how you see Adrina go from so sad to more alive, also liked how Vilmos gets more mature. Myrial it's so harsh what happens to her but she grows from it

Obviously, I'm for Tolkien as I am Gandolf The Gray, but I do love Robert Stanek's characters. They are amazing.

I loved how the characters really seemed to mature and adapt as the books went on. I definetly loved them from the start, but seeing this change in them really added another level to the books that I enjoyed as much as the story. The characters in the Ruin Mist series are definetly my favorites.

To me, the growth and development is what made them all so real. Of them all, I think Adrina and Emel had the most personal growth but also Vilmos and Seth.

I agree that Adrina had a lot of growth. I think that Vilmos had the most growth and personality change overall though.
