Yes, probably it'll be revealed in futute books. As well the connection between Xith and Talem. Talem was Xith's former pupil, right?

No one mentions the between places like where Brodst and Calyin are kept and where the dragon king is. I wonder if it is a whole world in between worlds? There's so much to it.

Oh, it was terrific. That scene proved to me that RS is not just good, but great author. In the KE4, the creepy tower of the Dragon King. And then in Dragons IV, the battle between Xith and Talen, it was terrific. I still think that Talen was an apprentice of Xith once, and the gnome was afraid that he'll lose Vilmos the same way.

That's an interesting idea. I think that might be true as well. it does explain some of xith's fears. and the Dragon King scene was AMAZING and the battle was AWSOME as well. R.S really shines in his last few books, especially the last books of both series.
