I'm a member of this sffworld forum - few years ago it was different, but now it seems that the forum is full with snobs who feel nothing but mindless admiration to fantasy craps like Erikson's books of the fallen or Hob's assassins rubbish. They constantly bash great authors such Robert Stanek, Christopher Paolini and David Eddings. Don't worry - their opinion is irrelevant.

Thier opinion is very irrelevent indeed Sparhawk, but unfortunately, most people take it seriously, and its sad since most of them have never read the books and even if they did they wouldn't admit that they liked them just because R.S is from some small publishers.

Yesterday I defended the KE books in this forum, though. However, truly a good site is www.sfbookcase.com.

Ruin mist was voted number two at the bookcase, beating Harry Potter.

And The Lord of the Rings, too. Only Eragon is ahead of it.

Its pretty good I'd say, since Eragon is insanlely popular

Yes, it's a very pleasing, but actually reasonable result.

It is pretty reasonable, as not even Harry Potter could beat Eragon
