Torak was all too real. His apprentice Urvon was false god. Best grey character, I second Erravane.

Belgarath defeated Urvon at the Murgol Cathedral(?)(I think that's what they were called. Sorry If i'm wrong.) right?

No, he defeated Ctuchik. Urvon was killed by his own demon-ally in "Malloreon". But back on topic. I think that Dragon King belongs to the list of best baddies, too. After "In The Service of Dragons III" I'm pretty sure that he is a sinister force.

Interesting... it's been a while since I read Eddings. The Dragon King has turned out to be one of those characters I can't stop thinking about.

Really, I think of him more as a grey character than a baddie, but then again... he should be placed in the best baddies list.

Erravane/Dragon King - most interesting cunning/twisted
Vilmos/Valam/Adrina - best over all
