I want to share with you that Mr. Robert Stanek have won the Award for Author of 2006 year in Bulgaria. The National Fantasy and Horror Club here, which I have the honour to lead and guide, have voted Stanek worthy of the Award, given in previous years to names such as David Eddings, Terry Brooks and RA Salvatore. His debut novel in Bulgaria, "Keeper Martin's Tale" was the hottest fantasy online and was selected as one of the best fantasy books, published in 2006 alongside "Demon Awakens" by RA Salvatore.

As for a comment on Mr. Stanek's latest works, it is the best books yet. As with his earlier books, he writes using both traditional elements and elements entirely his own. Traditional elements he weaves in unique ways making them fresh. New elements he uses amaze and captivate like few others. Mr. Stanek has made major contributions that even surprised myself. This gracious award from readers should be one of many to come.

The fans in our club loved RS and the Ruin Mist stories. It is amazing, but they place it in his hearths next to popular and well known stories like Belgariad and Malloreon, Star Wars or Shannara.
