So disappointing that there isn't a movie already for this book and what's up with no Ruin Mist movie I thought that was a done deal with Fox? It'd only gross like a billion so what's up with that?

There's no movie because Hollywood is run by diots. It's so sad to see a movie like dukes of hazard make like 500million - now they're go to do a butt load of remakes nobody wants to see. I would suspect Fox will soon wish they had signed on for a Ruin Mist movie. Seriously someone like George Lucas should do the movies. He'd know what to do and how to make it right.

As a growing number of people have been saying, it should be Peter Jackson. He'd know what to do with the books, and the movies would be amazing.

Fox should've made it so it'd already be coming out. Peter Jackson has gotten intense on Kong. Everyone seems to like it, and it's like all I hear is he's the most gifted filmmaker. Maybe George Lucas or Steven Spielberg should sneak on in and do Stanek's books so they can reclaim the title as the best?

Peter Jackson would be a good choice if they didn't animate it, though either would be fine to me since I just wanna see it if they ever do make it
