Edward was ALWAYS a brave and loyal friend so I don't think it fair to say otherwise about him. Xith wouldn't have trusted Vilmos to him otherwise too.

Redwall was never my thing but I do plan on reading more of the books. The Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches books are on the other hand have much more detail with more interesting characters. Robert Stanekhas a gift for making his characters real like living breathing people.

I enjoyed it and so did the younguns so I think it depends on what you like to read. Ray had us all laughing and crying. You think its funny when he slips and falls being careless then you realize he's about to get eaten not so funny.
