A toss up between Keeper and Sword master. The concept of the blades is as appealing as the intellect of the keepers.

I am amazed at how good the books are for YA. I only started because my younguns were reading it too. Now I think I am as much (maybe more) hooked than they are. The cover for book 3 is the one that makes me wide-eyed and giddy. It looks amazing even shrunk down.

When i first read stanek's books i was pretty young but now i'm in college and i still love them. I hope someday to have my children read them!! They are good stories with strong themes about friendship, loyalty, family, honor.

I hope so it would be amazing, but I haven't seen anything about it on RS site.

Talem is very creepy so is Erravane and the wolmerrell. Love how they have multiple heads and change into human form, sort of like a reverse werewolf. Werewolfs are men who turn into wolves. Wolmerrelle are beasts who turn into man or man-like.

The Alders certainly are interesting and their history makes the story stronger I also liked the Tyranths now before anyone goes ballistic it should be pointed out Gregor Tyranth was a hero and there are certain Tyranths that we don't know about like Galia who may in fact be good not like Jarom.

Mr. Stanek,
I am very interesting in languages, and plan to study it this fall. In previous chats, I asked about what languages you speak. I've read you speak multiple. In the new books, several character speak different languages. Aryian, the elves, Noman. Are these languages you made up for the books? Or are they like languages?
