One of the types of tree spirits is "alder"? Maybe it is a clue?

"Scoundrels" I love that - lovable scoundrels no less. I enjoyed the baddies, especially the way they are slowly revealed and how their motivations are revealed. If you read the dragon books closely, you can see why Jarom Tyr'anth's motivations are made clear.

Put my vote in for Noman and Amir. Valam would be near top too, and some of his men. Also the elven outrider Teren.

The three biggest surprises were Calyin, Lord Serant and Captin Brodst. I ended up loving every bit of their stories.

Midori is very interesting, like all the Alders she has a rich background and story.

Not just you--not by a long shot. I could see it in my mind, even though Amir wasn't one of my favorite characters I was there with him through it. Noman was so interesting too. I wanted to go back in time to when Ky'el was there.

Doesn't surprise me theres a big effort to squeeze out small publishers. The practice is not only anti competitive it's justplain wrong. Anye intersted in joining the anti commercial publishers league let meknow we have over 800 members.

I couldn't agree more. Who'd direct? Someone with connections to George Lucas and Lucas's graphics studios were be excellent.
