I'm halfway through the first story of the Shannara trilogy. It's an awesome book so far! Shea all the way.

I'm very happy that you liked Terry Brooks. He is very good author. I read the first two KE books and have ordered the next two (hope that my friend will be quicker this time ). I loved them, brilliant story!

And I hope so. I'd talk with the guy who is ordering them today. The first two books are spectacular. Of the all books I have read - and I have read thousands of books, literally, the KE books are the best with the "Belgariad" by David Eddings in my personal list.

Magic Lands & Other Stories... its one of Stanek's I don't hear much about here but all you have to do is read "Silence is Golden" to see the genius. No shortstory got me like that ever. Now that's something that should be a movie.

I just finished the first story in the Sword of Shannara trilogy, I'm now starting the Elfstones of Shannara. I still can't wait for a new RMC book, I'm missing the characters.

BTW, "The Elfstones" are better than the "Sword" IMHO. You'll have a pleasant read while waiting the next RMC. While I'm waiting KE3 & 4, I'm reading the "Drenai"-series by David Gemmel. OK, sometimes even excellent novels, even if not of the level of Stanek, Brooks or Eddings.

What are some more good reads while I'm waiting for the next RS book? Are the Thousand Orcs books any good? By the way, Elfstones was the best out of the three.

Yes, it was good. Well, "The Belgariad" series by David Eddings are enjoyable.
