But in England. In the USA it is sheduled for October. The new series are cool , but not like "The Belgariad". For now, at least.

I'm hoping for more excitement. Garion is a likeable lad though. I'm already engrossed! Any recommendations after I finish this series?

Well, there are more than a few options. If you want to continue reading about Garion and his friends, you might start "The Malloreon" series by David Eddings, sequel to "The Belgariad". If you like David Eddings, but don't want to read about Garion, you can try "The Elenium" series. There are about a knight called Sparhawk , who must save the poisoned queen of the kingdom of Elenia and stop the evil god Azash, who is trying to conquer the world. If you want new author... Well, there are many good authors, but I'd reccomend you to choose between thse three: Raymond E. Feist Excellent author. He creates a large worlds, full with strange creatures and powerful sorcerers. His most popular saga is "The Riftwar Saga". It's a story of two boys, Pug and Tomas, who are caught in the violent conflict between the worlds of Midkemia and Kelewan. There are 3 books in the "Riftwar Saga": "Magician" (sometimes separated as "Magician: Apprentice" and "Magician:Master"), "Silverthorn" and "A Darkness at Sethanon". Garth Nix Australian author of Young Adult novels. His most popular books are those from "The Old Kingdom Trilogy" ("Sabriel", "Lirael", "Abhorsen"). It's a story of the Abhorsen family, who fight ghastly necromancers. Christopher Paolini As far as I know, Robert Stanek himself is a fan of Paolini. He is the young author of the bestseller "Eragon" - a story of a boy and his dragon, who must oppose evil emperor. The book is great, but be careful - it's only the opening novel of a projected trilogy. Well, I think that's enough for now

Wow, you must read alot Sparhawk! I just started reading for a pass time 2 years ago so I have alot of catching up to do. Those I'll sound good though. I think I'll finish up with Garion because now I want to know what happens to him. I just started the last book in the trilogy. I'll start with your first choice when I'm done with Eddings work. Thanks for the help!!

Did you like the battle with Ctuchik? Still, the 2nd volume is even more interesting
