In the series I keep reading about the fourth wind. The old woman in the tower hints of the wind. Xith talks about it in particular. I'm wondering if/how this ties in to the prophecy and the whole thing with Sathar? If it does then what does it all mean?

That's one of the things I've been looking for as I reread the books.
The old woman talks about winds of change... That is the title of Chapter 2, Keeper Martin's Tale. She says something about smelling the change in the air in Chapter 1.
The Fourth wind, also referred to as The Fourth, I think is something different. Xith is the one who talks/thinks of this more than anyone else. I recall something about the fourth wind being able to blow across the mountain tops, maybe a hint that this power has a long reach.
I don't know how it relates to Sathar. I do recall the discussion of the Dark Journey and Sathar's return. It is the thing the elves fear.
I do think it is all very interesting.

No way is the fourth wind Sathar. Sathar is totally different. Sathar is the evil that's returned from the past. The other is something different that's what I think anyways.

I believe Sathar is the evil returned to the realms of the elves. Like the ultimate evil he will try to enslave all the peoples of all the lands. Least that's what I got from it.

No way Sathar is way more original. It is like the ultimate darkness/evil for all the worlds.

I guess you are right. Sauron isn't as cool as a evil darkelf overlord. I hope he hates Harry Potter

Did you all read RS's post? He mentioned the FOURTH!!! It says the Fourth comes... How many peps read the elf queen and the king books? They have the earliest mention of the fourth that I've found that's why i think it ties in with the prophecy and the whole thing with Sathar.
