I have it on good authority The Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches was nominated for 3 major book awards and won one. I don't know what that could be but I'm thinking Newberry, Booker, American Library Association or some such. Now that's something to talk about! More when I know more...

Haven't heard one way or the other. The Newberry is awarded in January so that's a possibility.

dont be playing dm, what's up with the jk rowling recommendation? i know stephen king is a fan any one watching kingdom hospital knows that. "ghosts of the old kingdom" is straight from the books.

You know that "Kingdom Aliance" was in the list of the National Fantasy & Horror Club of Bulgaria. I'm delighted to hear that it gets attention also in the USA.

So called "literati" usually give awards to awful and unreadable books. I have no respect to this critics. The good books are those, loved by the fans.
