The opener with Vilmos and his nightmares is frightening, almost like something out of a Stephen King novel when he's writing at his best. Better, RS is mich better author than King.

Vilmos is the total best AND his dreams are so real. It's why he's the best k+e character.

Also how come no one says anything about Midori (Delinna)? Her new chapters and scenes are awesome especially as it reveals Talem early on. I don't understand why the were cut originally or why Vilmos dreams scenes were changed. Not too dark at all - very cool actually

Midori is difficult to like at first as you don't know her past once you know she's as likeable as Adrina

I didn't understand Midori's motivations until the later books when more about her is revealed. Then when you know about her and others, going back and reading the books again make them all the better.

I like what Sparhawk said about Stanek being much better than King. I've tried so many times to get into King's books but just can't. Stanek on the other hand is so easy to get into and love. Plus Stanek's dark scenes totally are chilling. I love that!
