I love the part with Seth and Bryan and Everrelle especially after the first time when you *know* what's happening and why. RS has lots of scenes like that where you catch the little things second time.

Indeed. Some characters in novels you could care less about what happens to them, but in Ruinmist, you want all the characters to be safe and happy.
