Nothing against golem but if there were posters of RS monsters they'd be just as good. Have you seen the wolm pictures? W-O-W doesn't begin to cover how incredible they are.

Yes, the Wolmerelle are scarier than Gollum and Sathar looks badder, compared to the Ringwraiths and even Sauron.

I agree. Gollum isnt really that scary, but the wolmerelle are pretty freaky, even to me. Sathar definetly looks more evil and dangerous than Ringwraiths, even though its almost an unfair comparison since we only have drawings of Sathar but have seen Ringwraiths fully animated. I guess that just shows how awsome the artwork of ruin mist is! I really would love to see how fearsome both would look if there ever was a Ruin Mist Movie...

The wolmerelle are wicked and vile but so interesting especially the evil queen. BTW, Art of Ruin Mist has excellent watercolors of the wolm and the queen. In a movie they'd be amazing.

You're going to love them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By far the best conclusion of any series I ever read. You won't want to put it down then you'll be sad it ended. If your like me you'll read it all again immediately. For fantasy beasts its hard to beat Golem but RS books have many more. I'd put Edward Tallyback, Erravane and Dragon King at the top of any coolest list.

Exactly what Sparhawk said. Stanek's vision for goblins, elves, dragons and the rest is different deeper than most. The history in the encyclopedia sets it all apart too.

Definitely agree with that RS has a deeper vision for the peoples of his workd than most. I've enjoyed digging into the encyclopedia, chock full of interesting background and history.

Stanek's take on goblins, dragons, shifters, elves in particular is very different. He's made them unique and real. I keep wishing for more in under and over earth and can't wait to see where the story goes next.

Going to be interesting no matter what. Seems lots of fans want to see the shapeshifters return. The evil queen surely *does* have to return. Xith let her live and she seemed unrepentant.
