I can't wait to learn more about the peoples of the north. How come nobody talks about the peoples of the north? I loved how they rod bears and wolves. Their culture was so different from the other cultures of ruin mist.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are important in the next books. You see, the kingdom is toast, and someone somewhere has to put it to rights. Adrina, Calying, Midori are obviously all in the north too along with Xith and Vilmos

Aeruhn and his people are fascinating. I liked the way he was introduced and how his story was explored.

I liked how Aeruhn was introduced to the story but I wasn't sure about him until later.

Didn't you notice every people in the books have a different culture? The elves, the southerners, the kingdomers, the free men, the north men. I loved that about the books.

The names of characters and places track with cultures. A lot of slavic influence, so too with korean/japanese, American indian, and german.

The names from around our world they give a sense of depth.RS studied languages and he's talked about it some but I'd still like to know more. Someone said before the names of the kingdoms mean something. Can anyone please tell me what?

I can tell you about the names. Sever - means North. Vostok - means East, it's quite archaic word, however, at least in Bulgarian. Yug - means South Zapad - means West
Bulgarian fans were thrilled to discover words from our language (which is a slavic one) in the books. ;D
