Hiya Sparhawk! I totally hear you! Stanek's books a very original and the magic systems are unique. I haven't encountered anything similar in all my years of reading fantasy and it's one of many reasons I'm totally a huge fan of the books and RS. The magic dreams of the characters are real and vivid and powerful. I hope to one day write too and his work inspired me to try.

It was very twisty and it'd make a phenom movie. The underlying themes of loss of language and culture in our world leaves a lasting impression. You can't help but start thinking about it.

Heya Huntress where you at lately? No ones up on RSMB without you and Shire Hobbit!
The extra books have been excellent. The best one I liked is the encyclopedia but the beasts book is good too.
What makes the beasts book good are all the notes from Keeper Martin. It's in there from when he first started as an apprentice to when he became a master keeper so it's like you can follow him as he discovers all the fantastic creatures of ruin mist.

WHAT I THINK!? THEY SHOULD MAKE THE MOVIES ALREADY! EVERYONE WANTS THEM! Everything out lately is stupid. I mean how many ridiculous Potter movies do we need? I'm so sick of HP and they're still pumping out HP movies. Twilight movie was mindnumbing too.

It looks like Adrina to me or one of her sisters in the KE only Adrina, Myrial and Emel have the orb. In SD Amir and Noman have the orb. Right? Or is it a part where Xith has the orb too?

Most def, it's why RS is one of the best and why when you understand it all you can't help but love his books.
The encyclopedia is the best for finding things about them you'd never know otherwise. I'm going to read up about Tae and Oshywon.

The original rules are online for free too and you're right kind of very very cool. I got my brothers to playing it as they are into strategy games.

Back to like discuss on what the graphic novels will be about. From the pix it looks like it is Adrina or one of her sisters, so it must be in the same time as the other books. Right?

Maybe they need a fantasy channel or maybe RS needs to make the movies himself? He'd be the best one to make them right so they are great not just good.

The love story of Delinna and Ansh is beautifully written and truly epic in scope. I agree it takes several reads to understand it clearly or at the very least hints / pointers from friends who have already read the books. But I think it is better to discover these kinds of things about the books on your own. It's like with all of RS's foreshadowing of events and stuff. Like when he foreshadows something in one book that is fully revealed multiple books later. There's so many like that it's what makes the books so incredible.

That'd be kind of cool to be able to play as each of the characters from the books but more like a regular RPG than like the LOTR games.

The place the wolm are from is called Rill Akh Arr. Arr is a god or such the wolm worship as RS says so in the books. So what does Rill Akh Arr mean? My thought it like the country of Arr or Arr's country or the place of Arr. Any other thoughts?
